nox, formerly nox NachtExpress and before that Innight Express and TNT Innight, carries business consignments across Germany overnight. Goods are collected from the sender in the evening, moved between nox branches through the night and handed over before the recipient's working day begins, which is why a nox timeline fills up in the hours when most carriers are quiet.
Track91 reads the scans nox publishes for your barcode and lays them out newest first, with every wording left in nox's own German. Each scan is timed on the German clock the carrier files it on. nox Track and Trace.
What a consignment was booked on shapes the journey you see in the timeline. Service availability, collection cut-offs and surcharges should be confirmed with nox or with the sender.
The core service: goods collected during the evening are moved through the branch network overnight and handed over before the next working day starts.
Consignments pass between nox branches, each called a Niederlassung. Arrival and onward-loading scans at those branches make up most of a timeline's middle section.
Night delivery exists so that an engineer, a workshop or a surgery finds the part waiting at the start of the day rather than losing hours to a daytime delivery slot.
Return labels carry their own barcode beginning with RA, which names the pickup type and the returning sender, and they are looked up here exactly as a forward barcode is.
Twenty-four digits, for example 220001234567160405123456. nox's own label specification breaks it down as the client code 22, three zeros, the sender's seven-digit customer number, the print date as YYMMDD and a six-digit serial.
Older labels and archived lookups carry SWR followed by 21 digits, for example SWR012345678901234567890. The eight digits after the prefix repeat the customer block of the shipping barcode and the print date follows them.
Return labels begin with RA and the pickup type, for example RA2123487654321000000001, followed by the return customer, the returning sender and a serial. It is looked up the same way as any other nox barcode.
The nox lookup also answers a sender's own barcode of the letter C and 29 digits, which the label specification does not define. That shape is accepted here when nox is chosen by hand, but it is never suggested automatically.
Every example above is a structural placeholder, not a consignment you can track. Your own barcode comes from the nox label, the sender's dispatch note or the delivery paperwork. Spaces and hyphens in a pasted barcode are ignored. A barcode that passes the format check can still be unknown to nox, because the lookup matches the whole barcode and keeps a consignment's history only for a limited period.
nox runs a night network, so the rhythm of its timeline is unlike a daytime parcel carrier's. A sender readies the goods in the afternoon, the branch records them in the evening, the line-haul legs run through the small hours, and the hand-over is often scanned before most offices open. Long stretches of the working day pass with nothing new to report, which is normal rather than a sign of a problem.
Scan clocks arrive without a time zone and read on the German wall clock the carrier files them on, so this page interprets every scan in Europe/Berlin. nox publishes no estimated delivery date and no weight, and it reveals a scan's place only once the recipient's own postcode has been entered on its tracking page, which Track91 never asks for. If a consignment has missed more than one delivery night, verify the barcode with the sender and then ask nox to investigate.
For delivery instructions, collection arrangements, missing goods or damage, contact nox directly, or ask the sender to raise it on your behalf. Keep the barcode and the last recorded scan ready. Track91 provides independent tracking information; nox handles the transport and any investigation.
Visit nox's official websiteTrack91 provides live shipment status and real-time tracking updates through its carrier integrations. Results may be cached between updates, so check the carrier event timestamps when comparing progress. Track91 is independent of nox. Enter the barcode printed on the nox label, or quoted in the sender's dispatch note, in the tracking field on Track91. The newest scan appears first with the dated history below it. The barcode is the only reference nox answers on, so an order or invoice number will not return a consignment.
The shipping barcode is 24 digits: the client code 22, three zeros, the sender's seven-digit customer number, the print date and a serial, for example 220001234567160405123456. Older labels carry SWR followed by 21 digits. Return labels begin with RA. Copy every character, keeping leading zeros.
nox is an overnight network for business consignments. Goods collected from the sender during the evening are normally handed over before the next working day begins. A consignment that misses its planned window waits at the branch and goes out on a later delivery night instead.
Each update depends on a new scan being filed against the barcode. nox works overnight, so a consignment can sit untouched all day and then collect several scans within a few hours of darkness. A label can also exist for days before the sender actually hands the goods over.
The consignment reached one of nox's branches. It is a transit step, not an arrival at your address. A later onward-loading scan, then an arrival at the delivering branch, then a loading onto the delivery vehicle mark the rest of the journey through the night network.
The consignment is stored at the branch and the delivery will miss the window nox planned for it. It is not out on a round despite the word Zustellung. The goods usually go out on the following delivery night, and a fresh loading scan is filed when they do.
The consignment is loaded onto a nox delivery vehicle for the current night round. A hand-over scan reading Collo von nox zugestellt should follow within hours. Because nox delivers overnight, that hand-over is often recorded in the early morning before normal business hours.
nox only reveals the place, the remark and the postcode of a scan once the recipient's postcode has been supplied on its own tracking page. Track91 never asks for that postcode, so the timeline shows the wording and the time of every scan but usually leaves the place blank.
Not on Track91. The lookup needs the barcode, because that is the only identifier the nox tracking service resolves. Check the shipping label, the sender's dispatch note or the delivery paperwork. A company name, a postcode or a purchase order number cannot be substituted for it.
Contact nox directly, or ask the sender to raise an enquiry using the barcode. Have the last scan and its time ready. The sender holds the transport contract, so a claim for goods that were lost or damaged in the night network normally has to come from them rather than from you.
No. Track91 is an independent tracking service and is not affiliated with nox. It shows the scan information nox publishes for a barcode, for convenience. Delivery instructions, redirections, collection arrangements, quotes and claims must be handled by nox or by the sender.
