About KALOG Express

KALOG Express is the retail courier arm of PT Kereta Api Logistik, the logistics subsidiary of Indonesia's state railway operator KAI. It distributes parcels and documents across Java, Bali, Sumatra and Kalimantan through 172 service points, using rail as the backbone and road for the legs that rail cannot reach. Its public tracker publishes every distribution centre and railway station the consignment passed, each with a date and time, and closes with the entry naming who accepted it.

KALOG Express services

Rail-backed parcel distribution

The long legs run on scheduled trains, and the timeline records the stations a consignment passes rather than inventing intermediate scans. That is why a parcel can show three station entries in quick succession and then nothing for hours: the service runs to a timetable, and a parcel that misses one waits at the distribution centre for the next.

Distribution centre network

Parcels move between DC facilities named after their city, with the entry stating both the facility and the town it sits in. A sent-to entry names the next distribution centre before the parcel gets there, and a received-at entry confirms the arrival. Reading the pair together shows exactly how far the consignment has travelled.

Multimodal reach

KAI Logistik describes itself as a multimodal transport operator, so the network is no longer limited to rail. Road legs extend coverage beyond the line, which is how Bali and parts of Kalimantan are served. For tracking this means the same entry vocabulary covers both train and truck movements without distinguishing them.

Beyond ordinary parcels

Published services cover documents up to three kilograms, bicycles up to eighty, motorcycles from 0 to 350cc, plants, frozen food, electronics and live pets. Those consignments use the same resi format and the same tracking chain, but handling checks at each distribution centre can add time, and live animals follow separate booking rules.

Finding your KALOG Express resi number

The resi, also called the BTT number, is printed on the receipt issued at the service point and repeated in the sender's confirmation. It is nine digits, the letter R and five further digits, for example 123456789R00123, which is a generic illustration rather than a real consignment. Enter it without spaces and keep every leading zero. KAI Logistik also runs KALOG Plus and KALOG Pro as separate business lines; references issued under those products are not looked up by this tracker.

Expected delivery times

Two to six days covers most consignments across the published network. Distance alone is a poor predictor, because the schedule dominates: a parcel entering a distribution centre shortly before a departure can cross Java overnight, while one arriving an hour later waits for the following service. The timeline makes that visible, since the gap between a sent-to entry and the matching received-at entry is the leg itself. Weekend and public-holiday services are reduced.

Reading KALOG Express statuses

DIPROSES records the consignment being accepted and processed. PENGIRIMAN (DELIVERY) is a departure, and the clause after it names the facility the parcel is being sent to. DITERIMA (RECEIVED) is the matching arrival at that facility. PERJALANAN marks the parcel in motion, with the railway station beneath it. DELIVERED closes the record, naming the person who accepted the consignment; Track91 treats that name as personal data and keeps it hidden. The page prints a date only on the first entry of each day, so Track91 carries it forward to date the rest correctly.

Contacting KALOG Express

KAI Logistik publishes 021 - 5098 6300 for KALOG Express together with [email protected], and gives its office as Stasiun Gondangdia, Lt. Dasar, Jl. KH. Wahid Hasyim No. 11 A, Jakarta Pusat 10340. Quote the resi number and the distribution centre named in the newest entry when you get in touch, since that facility is the one holding the consignment. Track91 independently displays the published history and cannot redirect a parcel, arrange redelivery or settle a claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Help with KALOG Express tracking, delays and deliveries. Select a question to read the answer.

How do I track a KALOG Express shipment?

Select KALOG Express on Track91 and enter the resi or BTT number from your receipt. The timeline lists each distribution centre and rail station the parcel passed through, with the date and time, and ends with the entry naming who received it.

What format does a KALOG Express resi number use?

A KALOG resi is nine digits, the letter R and five further digits, for example 123456789R00123. Enter it exactly as printed on the receipt, with no spaces and keeping every leading zero, since the whole string identifies the consignment.

How long does KALOG Express delivery take?

KALOG Express covers Java, Bali, Sumatra and Kalimantan through 172 service points, and most parcels complete in two to six days. Rail-borne legs run to a timetable, so a parcel reaching a distribution centre after the day's departure waits for the next service.

Why is my KALOG Express tracking not updating?

Entries are written when a parcel is handed between facilities, so nothing appears while a train is running between cities. Several hours without an update is normal mid-journey. Contact KALOG if the expected period has passed with no new distribution centre entry.

What does "PERJALANAN" mean on KALOG Express?

It means the parcel is in transit, and the line beneath names the railway station it was recorded passing. Those entries trace the rail leg between distribution centres. They confirm movement rather than arrival, so the parcel is not yet in the delivery city.

Can I track KALOG Express without the resi number?

No. A resi or BTT number is required. It is printed on the receipt issued at the service point and usually repeated in the sender confirmation. Track91 cannot search by recipient name, address or telephone number, so ask the sender for the reference.

Can KALOG Express carry more than parcels?

Yes. Alongside parcels and documents, KALOG Express publishes services for motorcycles up to 350cc, bicycles up to 80kg, plants, frozen food, electronics and pets. Those consignments follow the same tracking chain, though handling at each distribution centre can take longer.

Is Track91 affiliated with KALOG Express?

No. Track91 is an independent tracking service showing published shipment events. KALOG Express, operated by PT Kereta Api Logistik within the KAI group, remains responsible for handling and customer enquiries. Contact KALOG or the sender about address changes, collection, claims and proof of delivery.
