About BTX Global Logistics

BTX Global Logistics began with a single Connecticut terminal in 1980 and grew into an international freight forwarder. Its business combines transportation by air, road and sea with warehousing, fulfillment and specialized delivery services for shipments with different sizes, handling needs and deadlines.

BTX shipping services

Domestic air freight

BTX offers several urgency levels, from Next Flight Out for pressing shipments to Next Day, Two Day, Three Day and Economy services. The booked option determines the intended transit window; the airbill’s service field helps identify which option applies.

Ground transportation

Ground options include less-than-truckload (LTL), full-truckload (FTL), expedited transport and residential delivery. This range supports both individual pallet shipments and larger truck bookings across North America.

Offshore shipping

BTX arranges air and sea transportation to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The choice of transport depends on the cargo, delivery requirements and available budget.

International air freight

Import and export teams arrange international air movements with express and economy options. BTX’s global shipping page describes a network of more than 900 partners supporting its overseas operations.

Ocean freight

Sea freight includes less-than-container-load (LCL) and full-container-load (FCL) services. BTX describes access to more than 200 ports and operates as an ocean transportation intermediary, including freight-forwarding and non-vessel-operating carrier services.

Cross-border shipping and customs

Air and ground services connect the United States, Canada and Mexico. BTX also offers customs brokerage to help manage border documentation and the requirements associated with the shipment’s origin, destination and transport mode.

White glove and appointment deliveries

BTX provides residential and commercial delivery options for furniture, appliances, electronics, exercise equipment and medical or high-tech equipment. These shipments can require more planning than a standard doorstep delivery, so confirm the service purchased before arranging access or expecting assembly.

Residential options

Published options include curbside, threshold and room-of-choice delivery. The selected level determines where the shipment is placed. A pending delivery appointment should be resolved with BTX or the seller before you make plans to receive a large item.

Commercial options

BTX lists Bronze service with an appointment, lift-gate, two-person handling and inside delivery. Silver adds unpacking and packaging removal; Gold adds light assembly. Confirm the booked level with the handling branch.

Warehousing, fulfillment and retail distribution

BTX’s logistics operations extend beyond moving freight. Its facilities in the United States and Canada support inventory management, order processing and distribution, connecting stored goods with the next stage of the supply chain.

E-commerce fulfillment

Services include order fulfillment and processing, shipping, kitting and assembly. These operations help businesses prepare customer orders before handing them into the transportation network.

Inventory and retail systems

Warehouse management systems support stock handling and shipping operations. Retail distribution services also include electronic data interchange (EDI), allowing businesses to exchange shipment-related information with BTX.

Specialized freight and reverse logistics

BTX supports trade shows and exhibits with deliveries to event venues or advance warehouses. Project cargo services address shipments that need a tailored transportation plan, while charter services help arrange suitable aircraft for specific shipping requirements.

Asset recovery, asset liquidation and reverse logistics are also part of its specialized offering. These services cover movements outside a conventional sale-to-customer delivery, such as recovering equipment or arranging a return flow.

Finding your BTX airbill number

Use the full airbill printed on your shipping paperwork. Supported numbers contain three letters and seven or eight digits, for example BDR1234567. Keep the prefix when copying the number. Purchase orders and other references are listed separately in shipment facts.

Expected delivery timing

Next Flight Out

An urgent option using the next available flight to the destination.

Next Day

An overnight service option for time-sensitive domestic freight.

Two Day and Three Day

Alternatives for shipments booked with a two-day or three-day service window.

Economy (3–5 Days)

A domestic option for shipments with a less urgent delivery requirement.

These are the options described on BTX’s domestic air freight page. International and ocean shipments require a route-specific estimate.

Timing depends on the booked service, route and delivery appointment. The service shown in shipment facts helps identify the shipping option; it is not a guaranteed arrival date. Contact the handling branch for delivery arrangements or a missing estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common queries about BTX Global Logistics tracking, delays, and deliveries.

How do I track a BTX Global Logistics shipment?

Enter your BTX airbill number on this page and select Track. You can review the available travel history, shipment facts and delivery information. Copy the number from your shipping paperwork to avoid typing errors.

What does a BTX airbill number look like?

Supported BTX airbills have three letters followed by seven or eight digits, such as the illustrative number BDR1234567. Use the complete prefix and numeric portion. A purchase order or merchant reference is a different identifier.

How long does BTX delivery take?

Delivery timing depends on the service booked and the route. Check the service listed in your shipment facts and any delivery arrangements made with BTX. Ask the booking branch for a shipment-specific estimate when no date is published.

Why is my BTX tracking not updating?

A shipment may have no new recorded activity between handling points. Confirm your airbill number and check again later. If the expected delivery window has passed, contact BTX with the airbill and latest recorded update.

What does Delivered Awaiting POD mean on BTX tracking?

This status records delivery while proof of delivery is still pending. A later Delivered update can reflect confirmation after the delivery itself. The delivery time and the time of that later tracking update may therefore differ.

Can I track BTX without an airbill number?

This page requires the BTX airbill number. Ask your sender for it if you only have an order confirmation. The official BTX portal also offers reference-number search, which may help you locate the relevant shipment.

What should I do if my BTX shipment is delayed?

Review the latest status for an attempted delivery or a pending appointment, then contact the BTX branch handling the shipment. Keep the airbill available and confirm any access requirements or delivery arrangements directly with the carrier.

Is Track91 affiliated with BTX Global Logistics?

No. Track91 is an independent tracking service and is not affiliated with BTX Global Logistics. BTX handles transportation, delivery appointments, proof of delivery and claims. Contact the carrier or your sender for changes to the shipment.
