Pickup and courier runs
A parcel is collected on a courier's run in a named delivery area, which is the first scan on the timeline. Because the area rather than a depot is named, the pickup scan says where in the country the parcel actually started.

Castle Parcels is a New Zealand parcel courier and one of the Freightways brands, which share a single track-and-trace platform. A consignment travels on a ticket made up of a product code and a serial number, and each scan names the delivery area, the individual courier's run number and the branch that courier works from.
A parcel is collected on a courier's run in a named delivery area, which is the first scan on the timeline. Because the area rather than a depot is named, the pickup scan says where in the country the parcel actually started.
An on-board scan marks the parcel loaded onto a courier's vehicle in the destination area. On a next-day service the on-board and delivery scans are often an hour or two apart, which is why both frequently share a morning.
The brands run one tracking system between them, so a ticket issued by a sister brand resolves here too and the home branch named on a scan may belong to another brand. That is the network working as designed rather than a mislabelled parcel.
The delivery scan names the area it was completed in, and where the platform prints who signed, Track91 masks the name rather than republishing it. The confirmation still stands; only the name is obscured.
A ticket is a short product code such as NI10 followed by a serial number of up to nine digits, for example NI10-01234567, which is a generic illustration rather than a real consignment. Both halves appear on the ticket label and on the sender's docket. Track91 accepts them joined, spaced or hyphenated and folds them into the hyphenated form the lookup expects.
Next working day covers most domestic parcels, with rural and inter-island destinations taking longer. Scan times are printed in New Zealand local time and converted from that zone. Reading the delivery areas named on the pickup and on-board scans shows how far the parcel actually travelled, which is more informative than the elapsed days alone.
Each scan is a short title with the time beside it and a sentence underneath. Pickup is the collection, On Board the loading onto a delivery run, and Delivery the handover. The sentence names the delivery area, the courier's run number and that courier's home branch; Track91 treats the area as the location, because a home branch is where the driver is based rather than where the parcel is.
Castle Parcels contracts with the sender, so whoever sent the parcel is the right first contact and the only party able to arrange a redelivery or lodge a claim. The branch named on the newest scan is the one whose courier last handled it. Track91 independently displays the published scans and cannot redirect a parcel or arrange redelivery.

A ticket is a short product code such as NI10 followed by a serial number of up to nine digits. Track91 accepts them joined, spaced or hyphenated and normalises to the hyphenated form.
Castle Parcels is one of the Freightways courier brands, which share a single track-and-trace system. A ticket issued by one brand is therefore visible through the others, and the scans name the courier's home branch, which may be a sister brand.
Next working day is the standard for most domestic parcels, with rural and inter-island deliveries taking longer. The timeline names the delivery area at each scan, so the route between pickup and delivery is visible.
The parcel has been scanned onto a courier's vehicle for the delivery run in the named area. It is normally followed within hours by a delivery scan.
Each scan names the individual courier's run number and the branch that courier works from. The home branch is where the driver is based rather than where your parcel is, so Track91 uses the delivery area as the location and keeps the branch as detail.
Where the platform prints a signature name, Track91 masks it rather than republishing it. The delivery still shows as confirmed; only the name is obscured.
