About Dimerco Express Group

Dimerco Express Group is a Taiwan-headquartered freight forwarder moving ocean and air cargo across Asia, North America and Europe, and arranging the customs clearance and inland delivery at each end. It books space with the ocean and air carriers rather than operating ships or aircraft itself, and issues its own house bill for every consignment. A lookup returns the shipment header, a dated milestone list from booking through to delivery, and the vessel or flight legs with their scheduled and actual times.

Dimerco services

Ocean freight

Full and part container loads move on scheduled sailings booked with the ocean carrier. The milestones separate the departure from the place of receipt, the sailing from the port of loading, the arrival at the port of discharge and the final delivery, so it is always clear whether a shipment is still inland, at sea or waiting at the destination port.

Consolidation and house bills

A container booked under one master bill usually carries several customers' consignments, each with its own Dimerco house bill. That is why entering a master bill can open one shipment and list nine more beside it: they are genuinely separate consignments travelling in the same box.

Customs clearance

Dimerco clears the cargo at destination and releases the documents to the consignee. Clearance, the notification of documents and the document release are published as separate milestones. They are paperwork rather than movement, and they are routinely dated after the cargo itself arrived.

Air freight

Air consignments follow the same milestone structure with airports in place of seaports, and the shipment header names the mode. Track91 reads that mode to decide whether a loading or discharge point is a port or an airport, so an air shipment lands on take-off and landing stages rather than on sailing ones.

Finding your Dimerco reference

Dimerco house numbers begin with DFS and continue with nine digits, for example DFS123456789, which is a generic illustration rather than a real shipment. The house number is printed on the house bill of lading Dimerco issues and is the reference it files everything under. The master bill number from the ocean carrier and the container number also work, because the lookup resolves either of them to the matching house shipment. Only the house number is offered as an automatic suggestion; a master bill and a container belong to the shipping line rather than to Dimerco, and guessing Dimerco from one would usually be wrong.

Expected transit times

Twenty-five to forty-five days port to door covers most ocean lanes, with transpacific sailings at the shorter end and transhipped routings at the longer. Air freight is a matter of days. The sailing itself is often the most predictable part: booking, origin handling and destination clearance account for most of the variation, and the milestone list shows exactly where the time went. Every date is published as a bare day with no clock time and no offset, so Track91 shows the day rather than inventing an hour.

Reading Dimerco milestones

Milestone names are templated around the point of the journey they mark, so the place half decides the stage and the Actual or Estimated half decides whether it has happened yet. Booking confirmation and cargo pickup are the origin steps. Departure from the place of receipt is the inland move to the port; departure from the port of loading is the sailing. Arrival at the port of discharge ends the sea leg, and arrival at the place of delivery is the handover. Customs clearance, notification of documents and document release sit between the last two and are paperwork, which is why one of them is often the newest entry on a shipment that has already been delivered.

Getting help with a Dimerco shipment

Dimerco contracts with the shipper or consignee who booked the freight, and its branch offices handle shipments locally, so the office named on the booking is the right first contact. Quote the house number, since that is the reference the shipment is filed under; the master bill will reach the ocean carrier instead, who will only know about the container as a whole. Track91 independently displays the published history and cannot release documents, clear customs or arrange delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I track a Dimerco shipment?

Choose Dimerco on Track91 and enter the house number from the house bill of lading. You can also enter the ocean carrier's master bill number or the container number, and Dimerco will resolve it to the matching shipment.

What format does a Dimerco house number use?

House numbers begin with DFS and continue with nine digits, for example DFS123456789. The reference is printed on the house bill of lading issued by Dimerco, which is separate from the master bill the ocean carrier issues.

Why does one master bill show several shipments?

A master bill covers a whole container or consolidation, and Dimerco issues a separate house bill for each consignment inside it. Entering a master bill opens the first of those and lists the others as related shipments, so a ten-house container shows nine siblings alongside it.

How long does Dimerco ocean freight take?

Twenty-five to forty-five days is typical port to door, and the sailing is only part of it. Booking and origin handling, the sea leg, destination customs and the final delivery each take their own time, and the milestones show which stage a shipment is actually in.

Why do Dimerco milestones have no time of day?

Dimerco publishes each milestone as a bare date such as "Apr 05, 2026" with no clock time and no offset, at ports on both sides of the world. Track91 shows them on the correct day rather than inventing a time, and orders same-day milestones as the carrier lists them.

Why does my shipment show customs clearance as the newest entry when it was delivered?

Administrative steps are filed on the day the paperwork moved, which is routinely after the cargo was handed over. Dimerco publishes a completion flag on the shipment, so Track91 leads with the delivery when the job is marked finished rather than with whichever entry happens to be newest.

Where can I see the vessel my container is on?

The vessel name, voyage number, the two port codes and both the scheduled and the actual departure and arrival dates are published with every sailing leg, and Track91 keeps them alongside the timeline. The route itself is shown as the sequence of ports the shipment passed through.

Is Track91 affiliated with Dimerco?

No. Track91 is an independent tracking service displaying published shipment events. Dimerco Express Group and the ocean or air carrier moving the freight remain responsible for carriage, documentation and customer enquiries. Contact your Dimerco office about a shipment problem.
