PHLPost tracking

PHLPost, the Philippine Postal Corporation, provides mail services for addresses within the Philippines and for international destinations. Its official service information distinguishes domestic and international express mail, letter post and recorded mail products. The public package tracker supports domestic and international mail, parcels and e-packets. A posting receipt or the sender’s dispatch confirmation supplies the reference needed to follow an individually recorded item; a recipient’s name alone is not a tracking number.

Postal services

Domestic Express Mail Service

DEMS handles urgent messages, business documents and goods within the Philippines. PHLPost describes next-day delivery after mailing for eligible items posted by the prescribed cut-off, with service in major cities and towns. Confirm the applicable conditions at acceptance rather than applying that description as an unconditional promise to every destination or posting time.

International Express Mail Service

IEMS is the operator’s express service for eligible documents, samples and goods sent abroad. Prohibited-item rules still apply. After export, scans can be reported by the destination postal administration and customs. An international dispatch update therefore identifies an outbound movement; it does not establish that the destination has already cleared or delivered the item.

Registered and letter post

PHLPost’s letter-post information includes letters and postcards, with registered mail offering a recorded handling process. The service selected at posting determines the record and available delivery evidence. Keep the receipt for enquiries. Ordinary or priority correspondence should not be treated as equivalent to registered mail simply because the sender knows the destination address.

Parcels and e-packets

The public tracking page also covers parcels and e-packets. Their histories may include acceptance, forwarding, gateway processing, destination arrival, customs and delivery-office handling. Use the number assigned to the postal item rather than the retailer’s order number. If a seller provides several identifiers, ask which reference is recognized by PHLPost’s official tracking service.

Finding the correct item number

The supported postal identifier contains thirteen characters: two letters, nine digits and two final letters. A generic example is EE123456789PH. Copy all characters, including the country suffix, and remove accidental spaces around the reference. International items can retain the same postal identifier after crossing borders. A suffix is part of the identifier rather than proof that all processing events occur in that country.

Delivery periods and event times

The expected delivery period depends on the product, posting cut-off, destination and the handling required en route. PHLPost’s domestic express description has eligibility conditions; international express transit also includes destination processing. Track91 uses the operator’s supplied event times and does not turn an acceptance or customs scan into a delivery estimate. A delivered status appears only when the postal history includes an actual delivery event.

Understanding postal tracking updates

Posting records acceptance. En route and dispatch updates describe onward movement through the postal network. A gateway scan identifies export handling, while receipt in the destination country is a separate step. Send item to customs and held by customs indicate border processing; returned from customs records release back into postal handling. Receipt at a delivery office still differs from item delivered, which confirms the final delivery event.

Contacting PHLPost

PHLPost lists (02) 8288-7678 and [email protected] for general concerns, with working days Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Include the tracking number, service, posting date and destination in an enquiry. The official contact page also separates Postal ID concerns from general postal assistance. Track91 independently displays tracking updates and cannot issue delivery instructions or decide customs requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common queries about PHLPost tracking, delays, and deliveries.

How do I track my PHLPost item?

Enter the full postal item number from your posting receipt or the sender’s confirmation and select PHLPost. Track91 displays available recorded events. If the number returns no history, verify every character and compare the result with the operator’s official tracking portal.

What does a PHLPost tracking number look like?

The supported postal identifier contains thirteen characters: two letters, nine digits and two final letters. A generic example is EE123456789PH. Copy all characters, including the country suffix, and remove accidental spaces around the reference. International items can retain the same postal identifier after crossing borders. A suffix is part of the identifier rather than proof that all processing events occur in that country.

How long does PHLPost delivery take?

The expected delivery period depends on the product, posting cut-off, destination and the handling required en route. PHLPost’s domestic express description has eligibility conditions; international express transit also includes destination processing. Track91 uses the operator’s supplied event times and does not turn an acceptance or customs scan into a delivery estimate. A delivered status appears only when the postal history includes an actual delivery event.

Why is my PHLPost tracking not updating?

Postal histories update when the operator reports a recorded processing event. Movement between offices or countries may occur without an immediate new scan. Check the latest dated update, the selected product and any official notices; contact PHLPost if the expected service period has passed.

What do PHLPost customs and exchange-office updates mean?

Exchange-office updates identify international postal processing. A customs update describes border handling and does not confirm delivery. Release from customs and receipt at a delivery office are separate stages. Wait for an explicit delivery event before treating the postal item as delivered to its recipient.

Can I track PHLPost without an item number?

Track91 needs the item reference issued for recorded postal handling. Ask the sender for the posting receipt or dispatch confirmation if it is missing. A name, delivery address, telephone number or retailer order number does not replace the operator’s postal tracking reference.

What should I do if my PHLPost parcel is delayed?

Check the complete tracking history and the official operator’s service notices first. Keep the posting receipt and provide the item number, service, posting date and destination when requesting help. PHLPost or the accepting post office can advise about the appropriate enquiry procedure.

Is Track91 affiliated with PHLPost?

No. Track91 is an independent tracking service and is not affiliated with PHLPost. It displays available postal updates for convenience. Booking, delivery instructions, official enquiries and customs requirements remain with the postal operator and the responsible authorities.
