About MDS Collivery

MDS Collivery is a South African courier running a branch network across the country and booking shipments through an online platform used largely by businesses and online sellers. Each booking is a "collivery" with its own waybill number. A lookup returns the collection and delivery towns, a set of progress flags and a dated history in which every entry names the suburb or branch involved, from the parcel being loaded on the system to the driver handing it over.

MDS Collivery services

Door-to-door collection

A booking is loaded on the system first, then a driver collects from the sender. The collection entry names the suburb it was picked up from rather than the branch, so it is immediately clear which end of the journey the parcel is at even before it reaches a depot.

Branch network

Parcels are received into regional branches and moved between them by road. Each receipt is published as its own entry naming the branch, and an en-route entry marks a parcel travelling to the next town. Reading the sequence of branch names is the clearest way to see how a parcel is being routed.

Delivery and proof

A driver is assigned for the delivery run, and the delivered entry names the suburb the parcel was handed over in. An invoicing entry is usually filed shortly afterwards. That last entry is an accounting record rather than a movement, so a completed parcel often shows invoicing as its newest status.

Online booking platform

Collivery is booked through a web platform and an API rather than at a counter, and parcel details can be amended after collection. When that happens an entry recording the update appears in the history, which explains details-updated entries sitting between movement scans.

Finding your Collivery waybill number

Collivery waybill numbers are plain digits, usually seven of them, for example 1234567, which is a generic illustration rather than a real booking. The number is shown on the booking confirmation and on the waybill label attached to the parcel. Because bare digits are shared with many other carriers, Track91 does not offer Collivery as an automatic suggestion; pick the courier from the list and the lookup runs normally.

Expected transit times

One to three working days covers most domestic parcels. A parcel collected and delivered inside the same metropolitan area often moves within a day, while one routed through a regional branch takes longer, and the branch entries in the timeline show exactly where that time goes. History rows carry a unix timestamp, so the times shown are absolute instants rather than a reading of a local clock, and they are displayed in South African time.

Reading Collivery statuses

Collivery publishes no status code, only a sentence, and the place is written into that sentence rather than carried in a field. Track91 reads the suburb out of wording such as collected from, received in a named branch, en route to a town and delivered to a suburb. Loading on the system is the booking, a driver being assigned is the delivery run, and invoicing closes the record. A cancellation appears as a single entry with nothing after it.

Getting help with a Collivery parcel

Collivery contracts with the account that made the booking, so the sender is the right first contact and the only party able to amend or re-book a shipment. The branch named in the newest entry is the one physically holding the parcel, which is worth quoting when asking about a delay. Track91 independently displays the published history and cannot redirect a parcel, rebook a collection or settle a claim.

Understanding these updates

Track91 provides live shipment status and real-time tracking updates through its carrier integrations. Results may be cached between updates, so check the carrier event timestamps when comparing progress. Track91 is independent of MDS Collivery. Frequently Asked Questions

Help with MDS Collivery tracking, delays and deliveries. Select a question to read the answer.

How do I track an MDS Collivery parcel?

Choose MDS Collivery on Track91 and enter the waybill number from the booking confirmation. The timeline shows the collection, every branch the parcel passed through and the delivery, each with the suburb or town named in the status itself.

What format does a Collivery waybill number use?

Waybill numbers are plain digits, usually seven of them, for example 1234567. There is no prefix or check letter. Because that shape is shared with many other carriers, Track91 does not offer Collivery as an automatic guess; choose it from the courier list instead.

How long does an MDS Collivery delivery take?

One to three working days covers most domestic parcels. Deliveries between major centres are usually quicker than those routed through a regional branch, and the timeline makes the difference visible by naming each branch the parcel is received into.

Why does the timeline not show a street address?

Collivery publishes the full collection and delivery street addresses with the waybill. Track91 keeps only the town from each, because a timeline does not need to republish somebody's doorstep for the journey to make sense.

What does "Collivery invoiced" mean?

It records the shipment being billed once it has been completed, and it is an accounting entry rather than a movement. It commonly appears as the newest status after delivery, which is why a completed parcel can show invoicing rather than delivery at the top of the timeline.

What does "Driver assigned to deliver your parcel" mean?

A driver has been allocated and the parcel is on the delivery run for that day. It is Collivery's out-for-delivery status, and it is normally followed within hours by a delivered entry naming the suburb.

Can a Collivery waybill be cancelled after booking?

Yes. A cancelled booking publishes a single status saying so and no further movement. If a waybill shows only a cancellation, the shipment was never collected and a new booking is needed rather than a trace on the old one.

Is Track91 affiliated with MDS Collivery?

No. Track91 is an independent tracking service displaying published shipment events. MDS Collivery remains responsible for carriage and customer enquiries. Contact the sender or Collivery directly about delivery problems.
