About InPost Spain

InPost Spain is the Spanish arm of the InPost group, delivering parcels largely to its Punto Pack and locker network rather than to the door. Shipments are identified by an eight-digit parcel number. Its tracking page publishes the whole journey grouped into milestones, with each individual event carrying a dotted machine code, a Spanish name, a plain-language description and an exact UTC instant.

InPost Spain services

Punto Pack and lockers

Most parcels finish at a Punto Pack counter or an automated locker rather than at a doorstep. The timeline publishes the parcel becoming ready for collection as its own stage, and the delivery that follows records the collection rather than a handover at an address.

First mile collection

A shipment is registered first and physically collected later, and those are separate events. The gap between them is the sender getting the parcel ready, which is why a parcel can sit in preparation for days before anything else happens.

Logistics centre network

Parcels move between logistics centres on the middle-mile leg, and arrival and departure events repeat as they are routed. Several pairs in a row is normal routing through the Spanish network rather than a sign the parcel has gone astray.

Last mile

Once the parcel leaves for its final destination the last-mile events take over: in transit to the destination, arrival at the destination, and then availability for collection. These three in sequence mean the parcel is in the right town and about to be collectable.

Finding your InPost Spain parcel number

InPost Spain parcel numbers are eight digits, for example 12345678, which is a generic illustration rather than a real parcel. The number appears in the shipping confirmation the sender emails and in the notification telling you a parcel is ready for collection. No postcode is needed; the parcel number alone opens the shipment. Because eight bare digits is a shape countless carriers share, Track91 does not offer InPost Spain as an automatic suggestion.

Expected transit times

One to three working days covers most parcels once they are actually collected. Reading the timeline by leg is more useful than counting days: the preparation stage belongs to the sender, the middle mile to the network, and the last mile to the final delivery round. Every event carries an exact UTC instant, so the times shown are the carrier's own rather than a reading of a local clock.

Reading InPost Spain statuses

Events are grouped into milestones and each carries a dotted code whose prefix names the leg. CRE is the shipment being registered, FMD the first mile with the courier, MMD the middle mile between logistics centres, LMD the last mile, and EOL the delivery. Track91 maps the code rather than the Spanish wording, because the code is the stable half, and keeps the carrier's own description as a remark beside each event.

Getting help with an InPost Spain parcel

While a parcel is still in preparation, only the sender can act, since InPost does not physically hold it yet. Once it is collected, InPost's own customer service can trace it, and the Punto Pack named in a collection notice is where it is waiting. Track91 independently displays the published history and cannot extend a collection deadline, redirect a parcel or settle a claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

Help with InPost Spain tracking, delays and deliveries. Select a question to read the answer.

How do I track an InPost Spain parcel?

Choose InPost Spain on Track91 and enter the eight-digit parcel number from the shipping confirmation. The timeline shows every stage, from the shipment being registered through the logistics centres to the parcel waiting at a Punto Pack.

What format does an InPost Spain parcel number use?

Parcel numbers are eight digits, for example 12345678. The tracking form accepts nothing longer or shorter. A postcode is not required: the parcel number alone opens the shipment.

Why is InPost Spain not suggested when I paste a number?

Eight bare digits is a shape countless carriers use, and it would also collide with the other InPost networks. Choose InPost Spain from the courier list instead and the lookup runs normally.

How long does an InPost Spain parcel take?

One to three working days is typical. The longest single gap on most timelines sits between the shipment being registered and the courier collecting it, which is the sender preparing the parcel rather than InPost holding it.

What does "Listo para recoger en Punto Pack" mean?

The parcel is waiting for you at a Punto Pack or locker rather than being delivered to the door. Parcels are held for a limited number of days before being returned to the sender, so it is worth collecting promptly once that status appears.

What do the event codes mean?

Each event carries a dotted code whose prefix names the leg of the journey: CRE is the shipment being created, FMD the first mile, MMD the middle mile between logistics centres, LMD the last mile, and EOL the delivery that closes the timeline.

Why does my parcel bounce between logistics centres?

Spanish parcels routinely pass through more than one centre, so arrival and departure pairs repeat as the parcel is routed. That is the network working normally rather than the parcel being misrouted.

Is Track91 affiliated with InPost Spain?

No. Track91 is an independent tracking service displaying published shipment events. InPost remains responsible for carriage and customer enquiries. Contact the sender or InPost directly about a delivery problem.
