About AxleHire

AxleHire is a United States last-mile delivery carrier working for retailers, marketplaces and fulfilment platforms rather than walk-in customers. Parcels are injected into a regional depot and delivered by contracted drivers, usually next day. Its recipient tracking service returns the delivery with its outbound events, the service booked, the destination city and the merchant that arranged it.

AxleHire services

Retailer last mile

AxleHire does not sell to senders directly: deliveries are booked by retailers and fulfilment platforms, and the merchant's name is published with the shipment. The first event is the order being created by that merchant, before AxleHire physically holds anything.

Regional depots

Parcels are received into a depot serving a named region, published as a region code such as LAX. The depot receipt is the point at which the carrier takes custody, and the gap before it belongs to the retailer rather than to the delivery network.

Driver assignment

A parcel loaded onto a driver's vehicle is recorded as a successful pickup, which the carrier also labels out for delivery. The two are the same moment described twice, which is worth knowing when a timeline appears to show a collection on a shipment that was never collected from a sender.

Delivery outcomes

The delivery event carries a remark describing how it was completed, such as left at the front door or patio. Track91 reads that remark rather than treating every completion as the same, so a doorstep drop, a handover to a neighbour and a signed delivery appear as distinct outcomes.

Finding your AxleHire tracking code

AxleHire tracking codes are eight letters and digits, for example ABCD1234, which is a generic illustration rather than a real delivery. The code appears in the dispatch email the retailer sends and in their order history. Because eight alphanumeric characters is a shape countless carriers use, Track91 does not offer AxleHire as an automatic suggestion; pick the courier from the list and the lookup runs normally.

Expected transit times

Next day is the usual service, and the delivery itself is quick once the parcel reaches a depot: receipt, loading and handover often happen inside a single day. The wait worth watching is the one before the depot receipt, which is the retailer getting the parcel ready. Events carry an exact UTC instant and the shipment publishes its region's own time zone, which Track91 uses to label them.

Reading AxleHire statuses

Each event carries a machine signal, a readable milestone and a category saying whether the step succeeded. Track91 maps the signal because it is the stable half: CREATED is the merchant's order, RECEIVED_OK the depot receipt, PICKUP_SUCCEEDED the load onto a vehicle and DROPOFF_SUCCEEDED the delivery. A failed category turns a delivery into an attempt rather than a completion.

Privacy note

AxleHire masks personal data before publishing it: the customer's telephone number and email arrive as asterisks and the destination is reduced to a city and state. Track91 keeps it that way, stores none of those fields and does not attempt to expand them.

Getting help with an AxleHire delivery

AxleHire contracts with the retailer, not with the recipient, so the retailer named on the shipment is the right first contact and the only party who can reship or refund. Track91 independently displays the published events and cannot redirect a parcel or arrange redelivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Help with AxleHire tracking, delays and deliveries. Select a question to read the answer.

How do I track an AxleHire delivery?

Choose AxleHire on Track91 and enter the eight-character tracking code from the retailer's dispatch email. The timeline shows the order being created, received at the depot, loaded for delivery and handed over.

What format does an AxleHire tracking code use?

Tracking codes are eight letters and digits, for example ABCD1234. Because that shape is shared with countless other carriers, Track91 does not offer AxleHire as an automatic suggestion; choose it from the courier list.

How long does an AxleHire delivery take?

AxleHire is a last-mile carrier working for retailers and marketplaces, and next-day is its usual service. The longest wait on most timelines is between the order being created and the parcel reaching the depot, which is the retailer preparing it.

What does "Out for Delivery" mean on an AxleHire timeline?

The parcel has been loaded onto a driver's vehicle at the depot. AxleHire records that as a successful pickup, so a pickup event and an out-for-delivery milestone are the same moment seen two ways.

How do I tell whether my parcel was handed over or left at the door?

The delivery event carries a remark saying how it was completed, such as left at the front door or patio. Track91 reads that remark, so a doorstep drop, a handover to a neighbour and a signed delivery are shown as different outcomes.

Why does the timeline not show my address or phone number?

AxleHire masks those itself before publishing: the customer telephone number and email arrive as asterisks and the destination is reduced to a city and state. Track91 keeps it that way and stores none of it.

What time zone are AxleHire events in?

Events carry an exact UTC instant, and the shipment also publishes the delivery region's own time zone, which Track91 uses to label them. A delivery in the Los Angeles region is therefore shown against Pacific time.

Is Track91 affiliated with AxleHire?

No. Track91 is an independent tracking service displaying published shipment events. AxleHire remains responsible for carriage and customer enquiries. Contact the retailer or AxleHire directly about a delivery problem.
